Normally April 15th is Tax Day, but this year you got a couple extra days. If you upgraded your HVAC system in 2010 and qualified for a tax credit make sure you claim it when you file your taxes. Your tax professional can help you with this. Also there are some tax rebates for 2011, but they are first come first serve.

Remember to change your filter!
Helpful hint #1: Even with filters that say they will work up to 3 months, they need to be changed more often. A dirty filter reduces efficiency of your unit, which costs YOU more money.

Prune those shrubs and any other plants located near the outside unit.
Helpful hint #2: When plants or shrubs are planted near the outside heat pump, they restrict airflow to the unit causing the unit to work harder. This reduces the efficiency of your unit, which costs YOU more money.
